Shipping Guide

All fish orders are shipped using a fixed-rate shipping system based on box size and total order weight. Each fish is assigned a shipping weight based on its size, and the shipping cost is calculated from the combined shipping weight of the full order.

For standard orders, shipping is charged using our fixed box sizes: 6 lb, 8 lb, 12 lb, 15 lb, 20 lb, 25 lb, and 35 lb. At checkout, the system automatically selects the smallest box size that safely fits the total shipping weight of your order and applies the shipping rate for your delivery zone.

Larger orders are charged using our heavy shipping tiers. Orders with a combined shipping weight of 36 to 50 lb are charged at the 50 lb heavy rate, and orders from 51 to 100 lb are charged at the 100 lb heavy rate.

Shipping rates are based on safe live-fish packing requirements, not just the physical weight of the fish. Packaging materials, insulation, water volume, and box size all affect how an order must be packed and shipped.

In some cases, very large or unusual orders may require a shipping review before final confirmation. If an order needs special handling, multiple boxes, or a custom shipment setup, the final shipping charge may be adjusted and the customer will be contacted before the order is completed.

Shipping times shown at checkout are estimates and may be affected by weather, carrier delays, or seasonal shipping conditions. Customers should make sure the shipping address and contact information are correct at checkout to avoid delays or failed deliveries

All orders are shipped using UPS Next Day Air service. Most areas of the US have a guaranteed delivery time by 10:30 am, but some more rural areas will be delivered by end of day.

All orders will ship out on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday for delivery the following day, i.e., Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday respectively.
